The Rio

A Grade II-listed Art Deco house on Kingsland High Street, opened in 1915 and remodelled by F. E. Bromige in 1937. A co-operative of local residents has run it since 1979, programming new releases alongside documentary, queer and community strands across a 402-seat auditorium and a 31-seat basement.

The Rio is screening 45 films across 60 showtimes, from Sunday 4 October.
